CDHP seeks an experienced video editor to work part-time editing interviews and panel discussions with dancers, choreographers, educators, advocates, and others associated with dance in Chicago. Must have knowledge of Final Cut Pro X and standard video codecs. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and creative with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Access to own hardware and software is a plus.
Specific tasks include
- editing footage for use in various formats and platforms
- creating titles and other graphics
- audio mixing
- incorporating metadata into CDHP archive database
- working with Director and Digital Content intern to establish efficient work flow
Compensation is $20/hour for 60 monthly hours, including 2 hours of live availability weekly.
